1. Information we collect
We collect the files you upload or links you submit for processing; account details if you sign up (name, email, password hash); billing details handled by our payment provider; and basic technical data such as browser type, device and IP address.
2. How we use it
- To compress, convert or download the media you request.
- To run, secure and improve Squozi.
- To manage your account and subscription.
- To answer your support requests.
3. Your uploaded files
Files are transferred over encrypted connections, used only to perform the task you asked for, and deleted automatically from our servers after 2 hours. We do not inspect, share or use your files to train any models.
4. Cookies & analytics
Squozi itself sets no cookies — there are no accounts yet, and your tool settings stay in your browser. With your permission, we use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to measure how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser. Its cookies are only set if you choose Accept in the cookie banner; until then — or if you choose Reject — Google receives only anonymous, cookieless signals. Your answer is remembered in your browser for 12 months, and you can change it any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. We never use advertising cookies. Your files, file names and their contents are never sent to Google.
5. Sharing
We never sell personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run Squozi (such as hosting and payments) under strict agreements, or when required by law.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Contact us and we’ll respond within 30 days.
